Haus Creatives
Canterbury Haus was born from a shared belief that creative work flourishes when artists have access to inspiring spaces, meaningful relationships, and the freedom to explore ambitious ideas.
Together, we have created a creative ecosystem where musicians, filmmakers, photographers, writers, entrepreneurs, and dreamers can gather, collaborate, and develop work that reflects their unique vision.
Joe Swiggy

A lifelong musician, Joe was a founding member of the Makeshift Gentlemen and has performed at renowned venues including House of Blues Chicago while developing a creative career rooted in technical excellence, respect for analog equipment, and artist-centered creative development.
At the heart of Canterbury Haus is Joe's passion for creating the kind of studio environment he always sought as an artist—a place where creators have access to inspiring spaces, rare instruments, vintage synthesizers, amplifiers, and professional production resources without sacrificing community or creative freedom.
In addition to his artistic work, Joe brings nearly two decades of leadership experience in highly regulated industries, combining strategic thinking, systems design, and project execution with a deep commitment to creativity.
